Unlike previous situations where foreign investors played a key role in pushing the market to new highs, this year saw domestic investment trusts buying over 383.7 billion yuan, over 5 times more than foreign investors, becoming the driving force behind the market surge. Taiwan stock market showed impressive performance in June, second quarter, and the first half of the year, with investment trusts being the major buyers, while foreign investors and self-owned businesses engaging in selling activities.
