On June 24, 2024, the Taiwan stock market saw a significant drop of 439.69 points, closing at 22,813.7, with foreign investors withdrawing over 45.1 billion NT$. TSMC led the decline, and various sectors including electronics, manufacturing, and finance also faced losses as the index dropped below 23,000 points. Innolux, a major panel manufacturer, topped the list of net selling stocks for foreign investors with 78,764 shares sold. Overall, foreign investors have been net sellers for two consecutive days, along with domestic institutional investors and proprietary traders. The total net selling by the three major entities amounted to 45.1 billion NT$. This drastic movement impacted the entire market as displayed by the significant trading values and volumes for the day.
