As summer arrives with scorching temperatures, a weather analysis suggests that the atmospheric circulation patterns will not change until mid-July. The sea temperatures are exceptionally high, with the Taiwan Strait reaching 29-30 degrees, higher than usual. The Pacific High pressure system is currently suppressing tropical system and typhoon development, indicating that the hot weather will continue. The Central Weather Bureau has issued a high-temperature advisory for 18 cities and counties in Taiwan, with temperatures ranging from 33 to 36 degrees, and precautions are advised to prevent heat-related injuries.
