According to meteorologist Wu Derong, temperatures across various regions of Taiwan reached around 35 to 38 degrees Celsius, with Pingtung Chunri Township recording a high of 38.0 degrees. Thunderstorms are forecasted each afternoon, with some areas experiencing heavy rain.
