According to a survey conducted by Commonwealth Magazine, Taitung County Magistrate Rao Qingling has received a five-star rating for the first time, following four consecutive years of receiving 4.5 stars. In recent years, the Taitung County government's efforts in utilizing local natural resources to promote slow economy have been recognized by residents, leading to Magistrate Rao Qingling's five-star achievement. The county's success in promoting a high quality of life through its natural resources has significantly boosted administrative satisfaction, with Rao Qingling now ranking second on the island, after perennial five-star leader, Chiayi County Magistrate Weng Chang-liang. The county government aims to further develop Taitung into an excellent city, improve residents' living environment, and establish it as a top tourism destination.
