FTNN News reported that DPP Policy Executive Wang Yichuan was accused of collecting and analyzing cell phone signals of citizens for election and event information, leading to privacy violation. It was suggested that the telecom company, represented by chairman Wu Jianhong, was allied with DPP and assisted Tsai in the 2020 presidential election. Wang's revelation of analyzing public activities using cell phone signals has raised concerns of national security resource abuse.
