Following the controversies at the 35th Golden Melody Awards, where Indigenous singer Ba Nai mentioned the Tiananmen Square incident but saw her speech edited out in the official social media posts and artist MC HotDog experienced microphone malfunctions, Taiwan's Ministry of Culture issued an apology and blamed Taiwan Television (TTV), prompting TTV to release 5 statements in response, attributing the issues to on-site staff errors. The statement also addressed the technical difficulties and precautions taken to prevent similar incidents from recurring in the future.
