Taiwan's Health Minister, Shih-Chung Chou, revealed plans to establish a 'Cancer Drug Fund' with a budget of $10 billion, aiming to start operations by early next year and achieve the target within three years. The move is part of efforts to strengthen the country's cancer prevention program, reduce the financial burden on cancer patients, and improve care quality, with the goal of reducing cancer deaths by one-third by 2030.
