A study conducted by Taobao Taiwan and Big Data Co., Ltd. on the e-commerce consumption behavior and preferences of Taiwan's Z-generation revealed characteristics such as low brand loyalty, interest in high-value-for-money products, and a preference for 24/7 convenience store pickups. The report indicated that Z-generation consumers are tech-savvy and prioritize factors like product prices, quality, discounts, and convenience when shopping online. Platforms are tailoring strategies like more simplified, enjoyable, and cost-effective services for Z-generation shoppers during 618 promotions.
