The Taiwanese activism group, Taiwan Citizen Front, known for 'Bluebird Action,' is planning to return to the Legislative Yuan starting from June 19 for three days. This move follows the parliament's upcoming handling of the re-appeal cases regarding amendments to the 'Legislative Yuan Powers Act' and the 'Criminal Code.' The group aims to continue supervising and defending democracy by urging legislators to support the re-appeals and conducting advocacy events nationwide. The Front criticizes recent legislative amendments by the Kuomintang, alleging democratic regression, and stresses the importance of citizen action in safeguarding hard-earned democratic achievements.
