A 27-year-old Taiwanese Air Force soldier surnamed Jiang tragically drowned after making a bet with his cousin to swim across the Keelung River. An avid soccer enthusiast, Jiang had previously been selected for the national team in the Asian Games. His body was found after being missing for 58 hours beneath the Dazhi Bridge, with authorities confirming his identity. Jiang's impulsive decision to jump into the river while under the influence of alcohol resulted in his untimely death, causing sorrow over the loss of a promising athlete.
