Taiwanese baseball player Song Chia-hao, playing for the Japanese professional team Rakuten Golden Eagles, was sent to the minor league after allowing a grand slam and 6 runs in a single inning, the most this season. Despite a stable performance this season, the team decided to send him to the minor league for further adjustment. Song, the only Taiwanese player in the team this year, will have to wait until at least July 3rd to be eligible for recall.
