In an incident of family violence on June 24th, 2024, in Taichung City's South District, a man and his son had a dispute resulting in the man forcibly dragging his son out of the car and riding off despite the son crying and pleading not to leave. The father proceeded to drag the boy for almost 10 meters on the street. The mother has temporarily decided not to press charges or apply for a restraining order, and the police have reported the incident to the relevant authorities for investigation.
