A Taiwanese company, Chuang Chun-Jen Bio-Pharmaceutical Co., located in Tainan, was found manufacturing unapproved traditional Chinese medicine with suspicious ingredients, leading to allegations of producing fake medicine. The case has been transferred to the Tainan District Prosecutors Office for investigation. The Ministry of Health announced the recall of 12 products and warned consumers to avoid using them. The Chinese medicine community noted that this company's products were rarely used in clinics and were mainly distributed through chain pharmacies, urging vigilance in purchasing. Health authorities across different cities in Taiwan confirmed the recall and removal of the related products. Officials emphasized the importance of sourcing medications from reputable manufacturers to ensure quality and patient safety.
