A 60-year-old officer surnamed Zhong from Pingtung Prison in Taiwan collapsed and died after a heated argument with an inmate on June 15. The officer attempted to calm the inmate down, but the situation escalated, leading to the officer collapsing from a heart attack. Despite immediate medical attention, the officer passed away on June 17. The incident is under investigation to determine the exact cause of death.
