The Legislature in Taiwan once again reviewed the amendment draft of the 'recall law' after a serious clash erupted last week. Female legislators from the blue and green camps engaged in physical conflict, with accusations against Kuomintang legislator Wang Hung-wei for allegedly assaulting Democratic Progressive Party legislator Lin Chuyin, causing bleeding. The review was postponed today, heightening concerns over recall thresholds, leading to a major clash between the two parties outside the committee room. Other instances of violence and confrontations between legislators were also reported, raising tensions in the legislative process.
