A fishing boat named 'Chao Yao No.1' caught fire near Tainan General Shing Port around 7 pm, suspected to be caused by electrical wires. The owner reported 1200 liters of diesel onboard. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire using chemical foam within 30 minutes, preventing the flames from spreading to fuel tanks or causing injuries. The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
