The subsidiary of Taiwan Salt Corporation, Taiwan Green Energy (Tai-Green), held an emergency board meeting where the CEO, Wu Bo-xin, was removed from his position and replaced by Lin Sheng-hui as acting CEO. This sudden change in leadership has sparked concerns among employees that it might be related to recent scandals in the green energy sector. The move comes amidst ongoing investigations into alleged misconduct by former executives and raises worries about potential interference with internal investigations. The Ministry of Economic Affairs stated that Wu's removal was based on streamlining operations and expertise needed for handling ongoing legal disputes within the company. The Ministry assured that ongoing investigations will not be affected by this personnel change.
