Taiwanese Hope for Improved Insurance Protection

Reported 12 months ago

The '2024 Global Protection Insurance Consumer Survey Report' released by AXA Paris Insurance Group indicates that Taiwanese people have a stronger desire for better protection compared to other regions, with only 6% thinking their coverage is 'very comprehensive,' significantly lower than the Asian average (17%) and global average (14%). Concerns about loan repayments are evident among one-fourth of Taiwanese individuals, which aligns with the Asian average. Despite high awareness of the benefits of credit protection insurance like mortgage life insurance, the actual purchase rate remains low at 22%. This survey provides valuable insights for future insurance product development and understanding consumer behaviors and needs.
