Taiwanese horror film 'GALA' combines cults, demonic possession, and ceremonies in a storyline where live streaming host Mafisi and her family arrive at a resort for an event and are met with terrifying occurrences, leading Mafisi to be possessed by evil forces, exclaiming, 'Even I am scared to see myself!' The film's teaser showcases a group of five young people exploring a haunted resort and live streaming eerie events, featuring horrifying special effects by makeup artist Zhu Xu, known for his work on other horror films, receiving praise for the unsettling visuals. 'GALA' is set to release in Taiwan on July 19th, 2024.
