Taiwanese Legislator Denies Allegations of Physical Assault, Calls for Evidence

Reported about 1 year ago

During a legislative committee meeting in Taiwan, a physical altercation broke out between blue camp lawmaker Hsu Yao-chang and green camp lawmaker Wang Mei-hui. Green camp lawmaker Tsai Yi-yu accused Hsu of stepping on his stomach, but Hsu denied the allegations and asked for video evidence. Hsu explained that she was trying to protect the staff during the chaos and criticized the green camp for targeting staff members. Despite vivid descriptions of the incident, there is no video evidence supporting Tsai's claims, prompting Hsu to call out the green camp for smear campaigns.
