In a legislative session, Kuomintang legislator Xu Qiaoxin raised questions regarding the source of information used by Democratic Progressive Party Policy Committee Executive Director Wang Yichuan to analyze data on participants in the 'Greenbird Action', leading to suspicions of surveillance on citizens. Xu claimed to have received a tip-off and presented data from a subsidiary of Chunghwa Telecom that aligned with Wang's, suggesting potential further revelations. Former Legislator Guo Zhengliang noted Xu's valuable inquiries hinted at a possible data breach from a telecommunications unit related to the 'New Tide' faction and their connection to current political activities. Guo also hinted at the potential for more significant revelations if whistleblowers come forward.
