Taiwanese Legislators Engage in Physical Conflict Over Meeting Records

A physical conflict erupted between Taiwanese legislators Wang Mei-hui and Hsu Chiao-hsin during a meeting to review proposed amendments to the Public Servants Election and Recall Act in the Internal Administration Committee of the Legislative Yuan. The conflict arose when Kuomintang legislator Hsu accused Democratic Progressive Party legislator Chang Hung-lu of taking away meeting records, leading to a chaotic scene with pushing and pulling. The meeting became tense as members from different parties protested and engaged in verbal disputes.
