During a luncheon hosted by Legislative Yuan President Han Kuo-yu at the Parliament's Kang Yuan restaurant, Han socialized with People First Party Chairman Ko Wen-je and the People First Party legislative caucus, with seven out of eight legislators in attendance. The gathering lasted for 2.5 hours until the restaurant closed at 9 p.m. When asked about the discussion topics, Han simply replied that they all had a good chat and left the venue. The event was characterized as a routine meal gathering and did not touch on legislative matters, according to attendees. Ko Wen-je remarked that the atmosphere was pleasant and that they discussed non-political topics, emphasizing that he ate heartily during the meal.
