Taiwanese photographer Lin Chia-hsiang, known for producing LGBT photography, was detained in Nanjing after participating in an art book exhibition. Mainland authorities accused him of selling obscene images and found 58 such items in his exhibits. Lin was released without administrative penalties due to a lack of understanding of Chinese regulations. Mainland Affairs Council urged the Taiwanese government not to sensationalize the incident, emphasizing that as long as people do not break the law, they are welcome in China.
