Taiwanese Man Practiced Stabbing on Chicken Before Randomly Attacking People on Subway

Reported about 1 year ago

A 20-year-old Taiwanese man surnamed Hong planned to commit a violent crime, choosing the 10th anniversary of a famous murder case as the day to randomly attack people on a Taichung subway train. Before the attack, he purchased knives, practiced stabbing on chicken to simulate the act, and expressed intentions to continue killing even after being released from prison. Hong's actions were attributed to dissatisfaction with his family and education, as well as encountering setbacks in his studies. Despite showing remorse after his arrest, he initially resisted authorities and proclaimed his desire to continue killing upon release.
