Taiwanese Man with Enlarged Testicle the Size of a Mango Goes for Urgent Removal Surgery

Reported 10 months ago

A 20-year-old college student in Taichung, Taiwan, discovered an abnormality in his right testicle last year, which gradually grew larger. Shy by nature and because there was no pain, he did not communicate with his family until the swelling reached 9 cm in diameter. After seeking medical attention, he was diagnosed with testicular cancer. Thankfully, the cancer had not spread, and he underwent emergency surgery followed by chemotherapy. He is currently under continuous monitoring. It is important to note that testicular cancer is common among males under 40, and symptoms may not be immediately painful but could lead to slow enlargement and a hard texture of the testicle.
