Taiwanese Media Claims Chinese Reporters Monitoring Political Talk Show Recordings: Kuomintang Legislator Questions Why No Arrest Was Made, Mainland Affairs Council Responds: He Was Rotated Back

According to a report by a pro-Green media outlet on June 25, a TV station's political talk show is said to have involvement from a journalist of the mainland Chinese official media Xinhua News Agency, with reports of the journalist even surveilling in the recording studio confirmed by Mainland Affairs Council Chairman Chiu Chui-cheng during a legislative session. Kuomintang legislator Hsieh Lung-chieh raised questions to Premier Su Tseng-chang about the incident, questioning why the Chinese reporter wasn't apprehended, to which Chiu Chui-cheng simply replied that the reporter had been rotated back to China. The session ended abruptly before further inquiries could be made.
