On June 25, 2024, the Defense Ministry's Armaments Bureau showcased the 105mm wheeled tank developed by the 209th Factory, undergoing live-fire tests at the training center and target range to verify the shooting control system. The tank can penetrate 500mm thick armor, climb slopes up to 60%, and meet the Army's requirements for urban warfare. With a total investment of 2.9 billion, the plan aims to optimize performance and seek Army procurement.
