A 48-year-old woman in Tainan, Taiwan, surnamed Huang, was sentenced to 30 days in jail for intentionally injuring a juvenile after slapping a boy, who was allegedly bullying her daughter at school, twice in the face for not apologizing. The incident occurred during a confrontation where Huang demanded an apology, but when the boy refused, she resorted to physical action. Huang can appeal the decision, which also took into account her education level, financial status, motives, and stimulations in the case.
