Taiwanese mountaineer Zhang Yuanzhi tragically fell to his death while climbing in France, at age 36. His family is preparing to bring his body back to Taiwan from Mont Blanc Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. Expedition technology director Zhang Xingwen provided details on the incident, explaining that Zhang fell during a climb on the Frendo Spur route. Search and rescue teams found him without vital signs in a 250-meter deep valley. Zhang's family is heading to Chamonix to bring him home, and thanks to friends, the Taipei Mission in France, and the Geneva Office for their assistance.
