Taiwanese Navy's Tuojiang-class Delayed: Ministry of National Defense Reports 100% Execution Rate on Air-Sea Combat Capability Enhancement

On March 26, 2024, the Navy's Tuojiang-class missile patrol ship Anjiang was officially delivered, with the project achieving almost 100% execution rate. The Ministry of National Defense will provide a special report on the progress and effectiveness of the air-sea combat capability enhancement plan, including projects like the Tuojiang-class, missile systems, and armored vehicles. Defense Minister Gu Liuxiong will present the report to the Legislative Yuan next Monday. Despite delays in the delivery of the fifth ship due to radar procurement issues, overall execution rate is high. The report further highlights efforts to counter the escalating threat from China and enhance overall defense capabilities.
