Taichung, as the second-largest city in Taiwan, is not only progressing with its existing green line and planned blue line metro systems but is also set to introduce a third metro line—the Orange Line. This nearly 30-kilometer line will run from Taichung Airport, through Taichung Station, to the Legislative Yuan Central Office, connecting the software park and major business districts. The Ministry of Transportation is committed to supporting this project, similar to how they are assisting with the blue and green line extensions. The Orange Line is expected to significantly enhance the city's transportation infrastructure.
