Blue Hsin-Chi, a former top ten criminal in Taiwan, who committed the 'Hushan Double Homicide' in Taipei in 1981, faced rejection in his attempts to register for presidential and legislative elections due to his gun-related criminal record. After being denied by the Central Election Commission, he appealed and filed administrative lawsuits seeking to dissolve the commission and enforce the ‘Taiwanese National Foundation Constitution’ and ‘Great Harmony World Constitution,' but was rejected by the Taipei High Administrative Court. Turning to constitutional interpretation, Blue Hsin-Chi's case was deemed ineligible by the Constitutional Court. Hsin-Chi's outlandish presidential campaign included proposals like granting 100 billion NT dollars to Republic of China citizens and establishing a world governed by Taiwan, among other controversial ideas. Despite his efforts, he was barred by the Central Election Commission from officially registering to run for office.
