Reported 9 months ago

The Mainland Affairs Council of Taiwan raised its travel warning for visits to China to 'orange,' in response to Beijing's new legislation targeting 'Taiwan independence,' prompting criticism. During the press conference, Vice Chairman and spokesperson Liang Wen-chieh used the term '出台' (chūtái) to describe the mainland's actions, leading to accusations from netizens that the ruling party DPP was not truly standing up against China as claimed.
