A parent in Taichung has accused a daycare center of cyberbullying their child by putting a ‘Zhu Bajie' image on the child's face, leading to outrage and a lawsuit. The parent complained to the Social Affairs Bureau, which responded by coordinating the removal of the child's personal photos from the daycare center's social media. Despite reporting to the police, the parent received a non-prosecution decision in March after a complaint in November. The Social Affairs Bureau stated that the daycare center has taken steps to delete the child's photos and upload group photos with obscured faces. The incident sparked public criticism and calls for stricter actions against such behavior in childcare settings.
