In Fengyuan, Taichung, a police officer surnamed Zhu is suspected of leaking confidential information and was investigated by prosecutors on the 4th. Following interrogation, the prosecutors requested to detain him without visitation rights, which was approved by the Kaohsiung District Court. The Fengyuan Police Division has responded by suspending Zhu from duty in accordance with regulations, emphasizing full cooperation with the investigation and accountability. The case involves Zhu allegedly disclosing personal information to an acquaintance from his previous post in New Taipei City, prompting authorities to take action and investigate the matter further.
