In a strange accident on the morning of June 20, a 29-year-old police officer surnamed Wu, riding a motorcycle in Taitung City, was hit by a bird, causing him to lose control of the bike and crash down a 1-meter drop onto an industrial road. Wu was found without vital signs and is currently in critical condition at the hospital. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation by the Taitung Police Traffic Brigade.
