On June 18, 2024, Taiwanese People's Party legislator Huang Kuo-chang expressed unawareness of the identity of 'C,' a key figure in a third political force, who suffered domestic violence from his wife 'E.' E insulted C by comparing him to Huang and even suggested he should jump off a bridge with Huang. Despite the association, Huang emphasized that domestic violence is unequivocally wrong and should never happen. As the legislative committee discusses parliamentary reform, Huang reiterated his lack of involvement in the case. Huang also criticized the media for linking public figures inappropriately and expressed confidence in the public's ability to discern such reports accurately.
