Taiwanese characters have the potential to attract international fans by crossing language barriers and touching hearts. In the Asia's major character authorization exhibition in 2024, the 'Japan Author's Exhibition,' held in Tokyo, Taiwan's ten super popular character IPs such as Catbug Bubble and KINGJUN, collaborated with the Taiwan Character Branding Licensing Association to make their debut in Japan, aiming to expand international business opportunities and assist characters in gaining global popularity. The diverse range of original Taiwanese character IPs showcased include various genres like children's books, illustrations, animations, and products, with some already having successful overseas expansions, like Octopus Bear, KURORO Space Exploration Team, MeimibyH.H, and more.
