On June 21, the Legislative Yuan scheduled a vote on a reconsideration case and planned to invite Premier Su Tseng-chang to personally explain to lawmakers in parliament why the reconsideration was necessary. Premier Su declined to go to parliament again to explain the reasons for reconsideration, citing his busy schedule focusing on legislative inquiries and executive duties. Su emphasized the importance of upholding the constitution through democratic dialogue and careful legislative review for contentious issues. Former Premier Lai Ching-te also agreed to reconsideration and supported the Executive Yuan's view that the blue and white proposals were unconstitutional and infringed on people's rights.
