Taiwanese Robber Caught after Robbing Jewelry Store in Taichung's Qingshui! Police Arrested Suspect in 3 Hours, Stolen Jewelry Worth 300,000 Sold to Repay Debts

A robbery occurred at a jewelry store in Qingshui, Taichung, where a 33-year-old man surnamed Shi stole jewelry worth around 300,000 NT dollars. The police, within 3 hours, tracked down and arrested Shi, who had already pawned some of the stolen jewelry for over 80,000 NT dollars. He claimed to have used 70,000 NT to repay debts. The police are currently investigating the whereabouts of the remaining stolen items and money. Shi has been transferred to the Taichung District Prosecutors' Office for the robbery offense.
