The prestigious Golden Horse Award, symbolizing the highest honor in the Chinese-language film industry, was actually designed by Taiwanese sculptor Yang Ying-feng. Yang's remarkable life, from stunning sculptures at world-renowned events to mentoring prominent artists in Taiwan, is now the subject of a film titled 'My Father, Ying Feng.' Directed by Fu Chang-feng and produced by Professor Wang Ya-wei, the movie, completed after 8 years by Yang's daughter, follows her journey to rediscover her father's lost artworks worldwide, showcasing the sculptor's fusion of Eastern culture and modern abstract art. The film is set to premiere on August 2nd across Taiwan.
