Taiwanese singer Xie HeXian revealed that he received an invitation from Mainland China offering a high fee to share an article on building cross-strait relations. This came after internet celebrity 'Potter King' exposed China's plan to invite 10 Taiwanese internet celebrities to film for free to promote Chinese culture. Xie HeXian, proudly declaring himself as a Taiwanese, shared screenshots of the offer from 'Beijing Ciguang Film and TV Media', which included a lucrative payment and opportunities for endorsements in China. With suspicions raised, Xie HeXian declined the offer, stating that as a Taiwanese, he would rather earn his money honestly. Potentially related to the issue, Xie HeXian's wife mentioned receiving similar letters multiple times, and Potter King also pointed out unusual aspects of the offers received.
