The student, identified as Xia, was initially rumored to have intended to hit the dean but ended up striking another teacher. After the incident, Xia issued an apology. Online discussions revealed Xia's dissatisfaction with the university, referring to it as a 'shabby university' with poor governance, corrupt practices, and questionable academic atmosphere. Xia claimed he was forced to attend by his parents and submitted a lengthy withdrawal statement criticizing the institution further.
