On June 19, 2024, a Taiwanese student at the Law School of Fudan University in Shanghai assaulted a teacher at the graduation ceremony, leading to his expulsion due to violating the school's disciplinary regulations. The incident, where the student initially intended to confront the dean but ended up attacking another teacher, caused significant negative impacts and was deemed as a deliberate disruption to the educational order, damaging the school's reputation and affecting the relationships within the school community.
