Taiwanese standout Kuo Ching-Hsien, a recent graduate from Pingzhen High School, officially signed a contract with MLB's Los Angeles Dodgers on June 11th for a total of $750,000 USD (equivalent to approximately $2.427 million TWD), making him the highest-paid outfielder in Taiwan's history. Kuo will be joining forces with Shohei Ohtani and Yū Darvish as teammates. The Dodgers showed great enthusiasm for Kuo's potential, with coach Dave Roberts, Yū Darvish, and Clayton Kershaw sending video messages of support during his signing ceremony.
