The espionage case involving a Taiwanese trainer has expanded, with the coach Lu Chi-hsien accused of receiving at least NT$5.7 million for a Chinese organization's development in Taiwan. It was found that the spy organization also included active and retired military personnel, even a Taiwan Airlines dispatch personnel surnamed Ge, who is suspected of providing former President Tsai Ing-wen's travel itinerary and photos of the Fenghuang special project's runway to Lu. DPP legislator Wang Ting-yu strongly condemns this, urging for the harshest legal punishment, saying 'Those deserving death penalty should receive it, those deserving life imprisonment should receive it, and the punishment should be as severe as possible.'
