During his whirlwind visit to Taiwan in June, NVIDIA CEO Huang Renxun delivered a keynote speech where the list of '16 Taiwanese Universities' displayed on his background board gained attention. However, it was later revealed that among the company's 30,000 employees, the highest number of graduates hailed from Israel's Technion - amounting to 1,119 people, nearly twice the number from the 2nd place Stanford University in the U.S. This trend showcases Israel's prominence in the AI industry, with NVIDIA having acquired several Israeli startups in recent years, including Mellanox for $7 billion in 2019. Huang Renxun's visit to Taiwan also included a speech at National Taiwan University where the 16 local universities were featured, spotlighting Israel's influence in NVIDIA's workforce and the AI industry.
