Eleven Taiwanese nationals, including 11 wanted criminals, were arrested by the Indonesia Bali Immigration Office for cybercrimes and immigration law violations. The cooperation between the Criminal Investigation Bureau of Taiwan and Indonesia led to the extradition of these individuals back to Taiwan. The criminals were brought back on a China Airlines flight and will be handed over to local prosecutors. The successful collaboration demonstrates the government's determination to combat transnational crimes and enhance law enforcement efforts against Taiwanese fugitives abroad, emphasizing the consequences of engaging in illegal activities. The Criminal Investigation Bureau urges caution when working overseas to avoid facing legal consequences in foreign countries and in Taiwan.
